Hi there!  I'm Christine.. the cook.  My home is in Hawaii but you could find me in Nevada.  I love to cook and I love the outcome of cooking- food.  I grew up in a filipino (Ilocano) household and was raised by my Nanang & Tatang (grandparents).  I grew up in a large household with siblings, cousins, aunties, and uncles.  Every night, my Tatang cooked our whole family dinner.  I know as a child I disliked some of the foods he cooked but growing up, I started missing it.  The older i got the more I wanted to learn my culture.  My tatang cooked the best Filipino food.  I wish he was still here today to teach me, but now I cook through nostalgia.  The taste, the smell, the look, and the ingredients... whatever I can remember eating growing up.  I want to share my experiences, my memories, and my recipes with you in hopes of bringing memories, happiness, and a full tummy.
